Unit Clerk/Patient Care Assistant
Part-Time, 32 hrs. per 2 week pay period
Days/Evenings, including every other weekend & holiday
High school diploma or GED required. Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Registry. Willingness to work with the realization that errors may have serious consequences for residents/patients. Patience and tact in dealing with residents/patients crucial. Constant use of computer screen daily.
A Nursing student in good standing and currently enrolled at a N.L.N. accredited program who has successfully completed one Medical/Surgical clinical rotation or a graduate of an approved Nursing program.
The Unit Clerk/Patient Care Assistant is accountable for efficient and effective clerical activities and processing of information and communication of a specific unit or department. Provides personal care to patients under close supervision of a Registered Nurse. These elements are not all inclusive.
