Days, 16 hours every 4 weeks and on-call for 61 hours every 4 weeks
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography or other healthcare field, ARDMS or ARRT(S) certified or to become certified within 6 months of employment. Must be able to take call as scheduled.
Performs a wide range of highly technical clinical examinations, using sophisticated radiological equipment, in support of the hospital and medical staff in the diagnosis and treatment of in and out patients. Projects a positive image of the Imaging Department in a professional manner to gain trust and respect of patients, families and visitors. Maintains and expresses a positive attitude when needed for special demands, as directed by the Director of Imaging. Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations, complying with current professional standards.
