Occasional, 16 hrs. per 2 week pay period
Weekend days only, 8:30 to 5:00, includes 2 hours per day charting.
Licensed RN in the State of Indiana. Active certificate issued by the Indiana State Board of Nursing to practice in Indiana as a CRNP. Completion of an accredited, board-approved master's or post-master's nurse practitioner program or other board-approved program that awarded an advanced degree or course of study considered by the board to be equivalent to that required for certification in Indiana at the time the course was completed. Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center preferred. Must have a valid and unrestricted DEA certificate. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Must work effectively in a team environment. Must be computer literate.
The Nurse Practitioner functions as a member of a team of healthcare professionals providing medical services to Dearborn County Hospital Physician Partners' patients. The Nurse Practitioner, under appropriate direction and supervision by a collaborating physician, provides care, assessment, interpretation of data, and develops and implements therapeutic care plans. These elements are not all inclusive.
