Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D required. 3-5 years related work experience in a healthcare or restaurant environment required. Completion of ServSafe Sanitation Certification Course required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications needed. Certified graduate degree from culinary school program, Associates Degree in Food Service or related work experience preferred. CBord or other room service system and DFM or other point of sale system experience a plus. Verbal and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with co-workers and vendors.
Description
Responsible for the management of the food preparation for patients, retail and catering services. Provides leadership for the planning, training, review and evaluation of all food production activities of the Nutrition Services Department, consistent with DCH standard operating procedures.
