day shift position, 40 hours per 2 week pay period.
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical
Sonography or other health care
field, or equivalent work experience in Ultrasound.
ARDMS or ARRT(S) certified or to become certified within 12 months
of employment. Must be able to take call as scheduled.
Vice President-Information Systems
Job Summary: Serve as the Hospital's senior executive
responsible for providing vision and leadership for developing and
implementing information systems/technology (IS) and computer
systems that support the objectives and goals of the Hospital and
its related entities. This position directs the planning,
implementation and control the enterprise IS systems of the Hospital
and related entities, to ensure the effective, efficient and secure
operation of all automated data processing systems, supervises
computer specialists and IS workers, proposes budgets for programs
and projects, upgrades equipment and presides over IS-related
projects. This position is directly responsible for leading
all employees within the IT Department.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information
Systems/Technology, Computer Science or a related field with at
least seven years of work experience in all phases of computer
operations. Success in progressively responsible management
capacities and experience directing employees in an information
systems environment that supports a hospital and physician office
system. Experience in strategic planning and execution;
considerable knowledge of healthcare processes, management &
budgeting; substantial exposure to data processing, hardware
platforms, healthcare software applications, and outsources systems;
good understanding of computer systems characteristics, features and
integration capabilities; experience with systems design and
development from business requirements analysis through day-to-day
management; proven experience in IS planning, organization and
development; excellent understanding of project management
principles; superior understanding of the organization's goals and
objectives; demonstrated ability to apply IS in solving business
problems; in-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as
they relate to IS; and strong understanding of human resource
management principles, practices and procedures.
