The Dearborn County Hospital Breast
Care Center, generously funded by the Greater Cincinnati
Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, is
offering its next Pink Day on Saturday, May 5.
On Pink Days, women who are
at least 40 years of age and who meet guidelines for
limited income and assets may receive a free digital
screening mammogram at the DCH Breast Care Center. All
women who wish to have a mammogram on a Pink Day
must contact the DCH Breast Care Center in advance to
discuss their eligibility for the program and to
schedule an appointment for the screening. Pink Day
participants will be asked to sign a form confirming
their eligibility prior to having a mammogram.
Pink Day guidelines include:

female, age 40 and older,
-
medically appropriate with no current symptoms of
breast cancer,

Indiana or Southwestern Ohio resident,
- must have limited assets and
income at or below 250% of the 2011 Federal Poverty
Guidelines,

must have a physician or nurse practitioner to whom
their results will be sent for follow-up.
The Dearborn County Hospital Breast
Care Center, which opened in 2011, is located in Suite
120 of the DCH Professional Building at 606 Wilson Creek
Road in Lawrenceburg. Available to all women, the
Breast Care Center offers comprehensive breast services
ranging from screening and diagnostic mammography to the
coordination of advanced diagnostic, therapeutic,
surgical and/or reconstructive procedures. The center
also serves as a site for education, reference, support
and healthcare related products such as prostheses,
lymphedema compression garments and personal care
products.
