Dearborn County Surgery has been acquired by Dearborn County Hospital.  The well-established, Lawrenceburg based surgical practice is comprised of Michael McAndrew, M.D.; Mark McAndrew, M.D. and Shannon Davis, D.O.

Resnick, Dearborn County Hospital Executive Director.    “Including Dearborn County Surgery, 26 physician practices are now part of Dearborn County Hospital.”

“Our community is fortunate to have three full-time General Surgeons,” added Roger Howard, DCH Director of Clinical Services and Facilities.  “In addition to general surgery, Drs. Mike and Mark McAndrew perform vascular and thoracic surgery.  They along with General and Vascular Surgeons Dr. Patrick Muck and Dr. Matthew Recht will provide the professional component for the new DCH Vascular Center.  Dr. Shannon Davis, who joined Dearborn County Surgery during the summer of 2010, is an integral part of the hospital’s Breast Care Center.”

Dr. Michael McAndrew joined the DCH Medical Staff in 1995, followed by Dr. Mark McAndrew in 1999.  Together they formed Dearborn County Surgery.  Both Dr. Michael McAndrew and Dr. Mark McAndrew are graduates of Thomas More College and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.  They each completed a one year General Surgery Internship and a four year General Surgery Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Dr. Davis earned her medical degree from the Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine.  She then completed her Internship at St. Joseph Medical Center West in Clinton Township, Michigan, and a four year General Surgery Residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, also in Clinton Township.
