Dearborn County Hospital is offering the
American Heart Association Heartsaver Adult First Aid and CPR
course on Monday, March 3. The course will be held from 8:00
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the hospital’s Dearborn Room.
This course covers first aid and adult
cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Blood-borne pathogen training is
also included. Upon successful completion, participants will
receive a card.
“The chances of someone surviving a life
threatening situation increase with the more you and the people
around you know about the signs and symptoms of these situations
as well as CPR,” stated Tina Butt, RN, DCH Emergency Medical
Services/Emergency Cardiac Care Coordinator.
The fee for the class is $40 and class size is limited, with a
registration deadline of Thursday, February 28. For more
