CERTIFICATION COURSE OFFERED BY DEARBORN COUNTY HOSPITAL
A ServSafe®
Certification Course is being presented by the Nutrition Service
Department of Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. The class
is open to anyone who works in food service, including restaurants.
ServSafe is a program of the National
Restaurant Association and offers a full range of food safety
training, encompassing basic food safety, personal hygiene,
cross-contamination and allergens, time and temperature, and
cleaning and sanitation.
Myra Glover, R.D., C.D., Director of Nutrition
Service at DCH and a Certified ServSafe Instructor, will lead the 15
hour course for ServSafe Certification.
This two day course will be offered twice
during August. The weekday course will be presented on Wednesdays,
August 18 and 25. A weekend course will be offered on Saturdays,
August 21 and 28. All classes will be held in the Dearborn and Ohio
Rooms of Dearborn County Hospital from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each
day.
The fee for the course is $175 and includes a
textbook, online certification examination and continental
breakfast. Lunch is on your own. Registrations must be received by
