The Dearborn County Hospital
EMS/Education Department is presenting a First Responder
course which will run from August through December. A
First Responder is often a firefighter, volunteer with
an ambulance service or safety team employee.

based on a curriculum developed by the Indiana State
Department of Homeland Security,” said instructor Tina

are included. Upon successful completion of the course,
participants will be certified as First Responders in
the State of Indiana.”
