Dearborn County Hospital Home
Health & Hospice recently hosted its 18th
annual golf tournament at the Hidden Valley Golf Club.
Taking part in the scramble which benefits the DCH
Hospice program were 18 teams, totaling 72 golfers.
The winning team, sponsored by
DeRoyal Orthopedics, was comprised of Chuck Spence,
Charles Ashley, Dean Fox and Shaun Guilfoyle, who posted
a total score of 59. Each of the four players received
a trophy and a $75 gift certificate to the golf club pro
shop.
Charley Lindemann won the Grand
Prize of a year’s membership to the Hidden Valley Golf
Club. Other prizes and their donors were: Cincinnati
Bengals, autographed photo of Head Coach Marvin Lewis;
Frisch’s Big Boy, restaurant gift pack; Greendale
Cinema, movie passes; Messer Construction, $50 gift card
to Aurora Do It Best Lumber; Perfect North Slopes, free
lift tickets; Rising Star Casino & Resort, four rounds
of golf; Sam’s Club, two memberships; and Solutions for
Print, a decorative pitcher.
A Nike hat or visor and a golf
club caddy cover were also provided to each golfer,
courtesy of DCH Hospice.
“Many of our regular players
return each year for the Hospice Golf Tournament. Their
loyalty is evident in both their willingness to
participate and their monetary donations,” stated Rik
Horn, RN, BSN, WCC, Director of DCH Home Health &
Hospice.
Returning in 2012 as the
platinum level sponsor was ABS Business Products, Inc.,
which has been the outing’s top supporter since 2004.
