Dearborn County Hospital hosts its next
Stroke Support Group on Thursday, April 3, at 6:00 p.m. in the
hospital’s Ohio Room. Stroke survivors and their loved ones are
invited to attend.
At this meeting, David Tittle, D.C., a
healthcare provider with the Doctors’ Speakers’ Bureau, will
present a program on increasing energy while losing weight. A
question and answer session will follow.
“The goal of the Stroke Support Group is to
provide a means for stroke survivors, caregivers and loved ones
to socialize, share experiences and celebrate milestones.
Meetings are informal and everyone has a chance to participate
in the conversation,” explained Speech Therapist Angie Knoop, MA
CCC-SLP.
Ages of participants range from their early
40s to their late 70s. Meetings are casual and are always free
of charge. Light refreshments will be served.
