Dearborn County Hospital’s next Safe Sitter class
for girls and boys, ages 11 through 13 years, will be on
Friday, June 8, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the
hospital’s conference rooms.

both the child and the sitter. Participants are
encouraged to ask questions and enter into group
discussions.
Course topics include child development, safety, basic
first aid and tips for success. Participants will also
be instructed in infant and child cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR) and age-appropriate choking
maneuvers.
The fee to attend is $40 per person with lunch
provided. Registration is limited to the first 18 paid
students. For more information or to register, please
