Information on transferring your Mammogram, Breast Ultrasound or Breast MRI images to Dearborn County Hospital

The Dearborn County Hospital Breast Care Center encompasses all aspects of breast health in a positive and relaxing atmosphere. It offers comprehensive breast care ranging from screening and diagnostic mammography to the coordination of advanced diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and/or reconstructive procedures. In addition, the Center also serves as a site for education, reference and support.

A team approach, provided by compassionate and dedicated professional, will see to your care at the Breast Care Center. As part of this team, the Center’s Nurse Navigator is available to answer questions, provide breast health information and to assist patients who have an abnormal mammogram or those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The Nurse Navigator and/or Breast Surgeons are available to work with patients and their personal physician to coordinate specific portions or all aspects of their care such as scheduling a breast MRI appointment or more detailed assistance coordinating an ongoing plan of care for those newly diagnosed with breast cancer. The Nurse Navigator is also available to assist with non-medical situations such as transportation issues, child care problems or lack of financial resources which could impede proper or timely treatment.

Conveniently located in the adjacent DCH Professional Building, the Breast Care Center is also available to assist breast cancer patients and breast cancer survivors with additional services including the acquisition of wigs and headwear; breast prostheses; lymphedema compression garments and personal care products.
