Cardiology

Cardiology at Dearborn County Hospital is inclusive of a wide range of services.  Its scope extends from the professional care exhibited by the numerous Cardiologists on the DCH Medical Staff to the diagnostic procedures performed in the internal medicine and nuclear medicine departments and cardiovascular lab.  It also encompasses the wellness aspects of heart health such as cardiac rehabilitation and dietary consultation.

The Cardiovascular Laboratory at Dearborn County Hospital is utilized by Interventional Radiologists, Cardiologists and Surgeons who perform cardiac, peripheral vascular and related procedures.  Some of the more commonly performed procedures include low risk cardiac catheterizations, diagnostic and therapeutic arteriography and venography procedures including peripheral angioplasties and stent placements.
